The 7th conference of the Global South e-Health Observatory (ODESS) was held at the Pierre Fabre Foundation in Lavaur. Entitled “Bridging the Healthcare Gap: the Role of AI in LMICs”, this edition focused on the challenges, what is at stake and the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence to improve access to quality healthcare. The event provided an opportunity to share expertise on diagnostic assistance, ethics and human rights, as well as feedback on innovative devices and testimonials from the 2023 laureates.
