Conference “ODESS: Celebrating a decade of commitment to Digital Health” October 15th 2026
The 2026 Conference of the Global South eHealth Observatory (ODESS) will be held on October 15th, 2026, and this year’s theme will be “ODESS: Celebrating a decade of commitment to Digital Health.”
Over the past decade, the role of digital technology in healthcare has evolved. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the integration of these technologies into practice. New opportunities emerge with the improvement of infrastructure while the widespread adoption of AI raises questions. Healthcare’s digital transformation now emphasizes stakeholders’ alignment and user-centric design from the very first design steps.
To mark the Observatory’s tenth year, this anniversary edition of the annual conference will reflect on a decade of implementation of digital health solutions.
This event will also feature the presentation of the Observatory Special Award. This distinction, which includes financial support, recognizes an e-health initiative that has demonstrated a tangible impact, proven sustainability, and strong potential for scaling up or replication during its field deployment.
At the Pierre Fabre Foundation headquarters in Lavaur, a unique photo exhibition will be unveiled, highlighting inspiring initiatives carried out around the world as part of the ODESS project over the past decade.
The event will be streamed live and available for replay free of charge on this page and the Observatory’s YouTube channel.
