Conference “ODESS: Celebrating a decade of commitment to Digital Health” 15th October 2026

The 2026 Conference of the Global South eHealth Observatory (ODESS) will be held on October 15, 2026, and this year’s theme will be “ODESS: Celebrating a decade of commitment to Digital Health.”

Over the past decade, the role of digital technology in healthcare has evolved. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the integration of these technologies into practice. New opportunities emerge with the improvement of infrastructure while the widespread adoption of AI raises questions.  Healthcare’s digital transformation now emphasizes stakeholders’ alignment and user-centric design from the very first design steps.

To mark the Observatory’s tenth year, this anniversary edition of the annual conference will reflect on a decade of implementation of digital health solutions. Laureates projects leaders from previous editions, as well as academic and political stakeholders, will share both their vision and lessons they learned to better understand the next ten years.

The event will be streamed live and available for replay free of charge on this page and the Observatory’s YouTube channel.
