About the project

Sokhakrom is a mobile application which offers a database of medical services in Cambodia (doctors,hospitals,pharmacies) and also some informations about illnesses, medicines, medical plantations, healthy food tips and then the possibility to make an online reservation for a medical appointment . With its innovative technologies, geolocation features enables users can search for medical and healthcare services providers within a fews clicks directly from their smartphone. Our main purposes are : 1/. Improving medical services in Cambodia 2/. Breaking the financial barrier to access healthcare services 3/. Restoring trust in medical services in Cambodia. In the next release of this mobile application it will be included few new things like rating and complaints. It is fundamental to have a feedback and to assure that medical users would expect their experiences with medical services providers in the proper manner. This will enable medical providers to improve their quality services.


The initiative address the problem of people living in Cambodia who have lost trust in the local medical services. It is hard to find trustable medical providers and professionals. Cambodian people would need more education and health awareness.


In order to fix these issues, we have to target both patients and health professionals : • Patients need an unlimited access to trustable information, so we provide them a mobile app that eases the access to trustable services. •Professionals need some help for the daily administration of their facility, so we provide them a management system, a software as a service to increase their productivity. •Geolocation technology to find medical providers nearby. This feature allows patients to find the best offer, according to its financial capabilities, as quickly and as efficiently as possible. He will be able to acknowledge the service provided thanks to a recommendation system. • Patient Relationship Management System: This platform meets organizational and strategic issues of all health facilities. It gathers all of the information related to your facility (staff, number of available beds …) and collected during patient care. • Online pharmaceuticals: allow users to search for drugs availablity and easily find drugstore from leading brands at attractive prices. • Online consultation reservation (Second phase) : SokhaKrom mobile application enables its users to book an appointment with the doctor of its choice.
