In a context of healthcare digitalization, Next Gen contributes to improving maternal and child health in Indonesia through the FHIR-ing up SMART-Care project. It provides community health workers with a comprehensive digital ecosystem (mobile apps, task scheduling, secure servers, and WhatsApp) that ensures simpler, interoperable care. Supported by a hybrid economic model, the initiative tangibly strengthens ground-level coordination and health data reporting. Finally, Next Gen ensures the system's long-term sustainability by advancing offline capabilities, training, and integration with national platforms.
