MedTrucks: mobile care units providing healthcare for all
MedTrucks offers a unique formula. Through patient geolocation, it generates detailed mapping and calculates the ideal route for mobile units, which are designed to suit each structure’s specific needs, providing more people with access to healthcare. Furthermore, healthcare personnel are guaranteed continuing education through a partnership with a Montpellier healthcare facility (remote training).
Recognized as a public utility since 1999, the Pierre Fabre Foundation works to provide populations in developing countries with better access to medicines and quality care. Its five action areas of intervention are the training of healthcare professionals, the fight against sickle cell disease, access to healthcare for vulnerable populations, e-health and dermatology. In 2021, the Foundation conducted 35 programs in 20 countries in Africa, South-East Asia, Lebanon and Haiti.
