About the project

Yaay.sn is an digital platform for mothers online. It is educational and offers everyday decision-making tools for mothers, in key subjects like healthcare, education, and careers/entrepreneurship. Yaay wants to create an entire digital ecosystem around these mothers who are seeking peace of mind and have their own professional and social ambitions: with a managed Facebook page, website, and a coming mobile app for mother and baby health. The content is mainly collaborative with a network of experts and contributions from the. The platform organises digital events with experts to raise awareness and educate about health via social media, in particular via its Facebook live channel. Conferences also enable the community to interact with professionals directly. Recently covered themes include cancer, couple psychology, sexuality, and societal problems linked to health.

In 2013, we had the idea of creating a platforms for discussion amongst these yaays, using the full range of digital tools. Digital tools have an amazing capacity to amplify the impact of quantifiable actions. And beyond these spaces for sharing, Yaay’s ambition is to become a channel for educating mothers and building their independence.
