About the initiative

Problem seeking to resolve: No scarring experts in country.

Proposed solution: Access to expertise in wounds and scarring. The initial training for the on-site team makes it better able to treat straightforward cases, and telemedicine provides support with more complex cases.

A wound specialist and vascular surgeon dispatched on assignment to the Baleveng hospital to train and support the local team, and primarily to investigate the possibility of an internet connection to continue providing support via telemedicine.

- Theory training
